What is GSmesh?

GSmesh allows you, using GSM network stations of any mobile operator, to determine a cell phone's location on a map. The ability to determine the location is based on the information, which the cell phone is transmitting, while being located within the coverage area of a cell operator’s base station. The information transmitted to the server contains the base station's number and its coordinates, which, together with the map network pinpoint an approximate location of the cell phone.

How accurate the location determination is?

The location determination is based on the mobile operator's base stations network. A cell phone is able to determine its location, when it receives GSM signals from several stations. Almost every city has from 150 to 200 base stations, if not more, and their coverage area is usually equals to 100% of the city area. After receiving the signal, the cell phone transmits to the GSmesh server the number of the base station in which coverage area it currently is located. Collecting the data of the cell phone’s movements between the base station’s coverage areas, GSmesh builds up a network, determining the exact location of the cell phone between the base stations, and projects this data on the map. The location determination fault is 100-200 meters in the city center and 1km outside the city. If the cell phone is switched off, its location can not be determined.

The GSmesh service coverage area depends on the GSM standard mobile operator availability in your city, district, or country.

Why should I register at the website?

The website registration is required for the following reasons:

• In order for us to be able to transfer the GSmesh program to Your cell phone;
• In order for You to be able to activate the program;
• In order for You to be able to see Your own location and movement tracks history and also the location and movement tracks history of Your friends, children, and acquaintances;
• In order to be able to send and receive Unlimited number of number of SMS- messages.

How much does the GSmesh Service cost?

GSmesh service is Free. Register at the GSmesh website and that's it – You are in the network!

Will my cell phone number be seen by the other users?

Your cell phone number can Not be seen via the GSmesh service.

Who will be able to see my location?

Worry not! Your location is not available for other users by default. You can at any time, grant the permission, or block certain users of the website to see your location using the GSmesh service and settings.

I do not want to use the GSmesh service any longer.

As soon as your paid service usage period ends, you can no longer use the service. However, this does not concern your registration. You would still be able to determine your own location via GSmesh program installed on Your cell phone and communicate with the other users at the website.

How do I install the GSmesh program?

To install the program You need to:

• Download a required version of the program (for s60 1st Edition, 2nd Edition, or 3rd Edition);
• Transfer this file to the cell phone (using Bluetooth connection, IR - infrared – port, IrDA, or a USB cable);
• Install the program.

How do I start working with the GSmesh program?

1. You should tune your GPRS internet connection (you can learn about the settings at the mobile operator’s website);
2. At the program menu go to Options/User info. Fill in the form like this:
   • Registration (register new);
   • Login (use the Login, which You have used while completing the registration at the website);
   • Password (use the password, which You have used while completing the registration at the website);
   • Fill in the additional information.
   When You complete this form, the program should change mode to 'online';
3. After that, You should choose the map you need:
   • Go to Tools/load map. When You choose the needed map, you have to wait a bit, while the program is downloading it fro the server;
   • Then update the cells. Go to Tools/update cells. Wait a bit, while the program is downloading the network information;

When all the above is complete, the program is ready to be used.

How do I change the cell phone's interface language?

• The interface language is determined by the language, which You have set in your cell phone’s language settings.
• To change it, go to Tools/Settings/General/Phone language;
• Then set the language You need.

What is the CellVIewer program used for?

The main purpose of the Cell Viewer program is to monitor the movements of the users, who have GSmesh program installed on their cell phones. The CellViewer program allows You to see the approximate location/movement tracks of the users, who are included into Your contact list. You can also edit Your contact list, use it to send messages to the other users, and look through the info about the mobile network. The ‘Track log viewer’ function will allow You to see the user’s track logs in the animated mode. This program will allow You to know previous locations of your loved ones, relatives, colleagues, and employees in a given period of time.

What do I need to do to stat working with the CellViewer program?

To start working with the CellViewer program you need to:

• Install the program on a computer;
• Register at GSmesh.com website, with the help of a cell phone, or the Cell Viewer program;
• Log-in and choose 'Update' in order for the program to download the available networks list;
• Pick the network You need. When you choose a network, the program will display an available set of maps for the chosen network;
• Choose the needed map;
• Press the "Open" button.

After the program finishes downloading all the data, You can start adding friends to Your contacts list, exchange messages with them, check their movement tracks history and current location.

How do I register at the website?

To register at the website, You have to click the Registration button, read and accept the License Agreement, and fill in the registration form correctly. After You have completed all the above listed, You will receive an e-mail to the e-mail address, which You have provided during the registration with the account activation link. Pay attention that, the activation link is only valid for the next 24 hours, starting the moment of the registration.

How do I restore my password?

To restore Your password, You have to click the Forgot Your password? link at the website, enter Your login and e-mail, which you provided during the registration, and a new password along with its confirmation. After You have completed all the above listed, You will receive an e-mail to the e-mail address, which You have provided during the registration, with the access activation link. Pay attention that, the access activation link is only valid for the next 24 hours, starting the moment you have completed the restore password form.

How can I download Software for my cell phone from the website?

To download the Software for your cell phone, you have to go to the website's Products and Downloads section, and find the needed program version. When you have found it, press the "Download" link. Various software help files are also available for download at this page.

Some info about the CellAgent program.

CellAgent launches in the hidden mode when the cell phone is switched on, and keeps track of the cell phone’s holder movements via the mobile operator's base station switching, or via the integrated GPS – receiver.

The following functional abilities are added:

• An ability to control Program’s functions via SMS – command messages;
• An ability to remotely switch the monitored cell phone’s microphone on, i.e. to be able to hear sounds, talks (if the cell phone is close by);
• E-mail and SMS – messages of the monitored cell phone can be captured and sent to the server via GPRS;
• Capture call history: date, time, duration, phone number, and its corresponding name in a cell phone’s contacts list. The data is sent via GPRS to the server;
• And some others.

How much does the GSmesh Service cost?

The GSmesh service is Free.

The cost of the CellAgent ranges from 3 (three) to 60 (sixty) USD. The amount depends on the program version and the program’s use time period. You can pay for the service using the Add Funds to Your account website page, or using the Payment cards bought in the Kyrgyzstan’s "Euroset" mobile operator’s offices.
